Downloading your Transaction Listings

For our mortgage research, we may need recent transaction listings. Many banks now offer these online, allowing you to download up-to-date records of your account activity. Transaction listings provide additional details beyond monthly statements, helping us assess your financial position accurately. Follow our simple steps to download these from your bank's online platform.

  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Select Statements from the left-hand menu
  3. Under Search for a transaction, click Search transactions
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Search by type, date, description or amount
  6. Set the date range to the latest 3 months
  7. Export to Excel (not PDF)
  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Select More actions on the right-hand side
  3. Select Search
  4. Set the period to the last 3 completed months
  5. Leave description/amount blank and select All transaction types
  6. Select the magnifying glass icon
  7. Select Export .CSV at the bottom of the screen
  1. Log into your online banking account
  2. Select the relevant account
  3. Choose start and end dates (latest 3 months)
  4. Select Download transactions
  5. Choose Download CSV file
  6. The file will download automatically
  7. Save the file and attach it to your email
  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Select Transactions from the top navigation
  3. Enter the latest 3 months
  4. Select the search icon
  5. Select Download and choose .CSV
  6. The file will save to your Downloads folder
HSBC do not currently offer Excel or CSV transaction exports.

  1. Log into your online banking account
  2. Select the account you need
  3. Scroll down and select Export
  4. Choose the latest 3 months
  5. Select Export
  6. Open and save the Excel file
  7. The file is ready to send
  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Select View transactions
  3. Select the latest 3 months
  4. Select Download transactions
  5. Choose Microsoft Excel (XLS)
  6. Select Download
  7. Save the file and attach it to your email
