How to Download your HSBC Mortgage Statement

Your HSBC mortgage statement gives you a snapshot of your mortgage balance, recent payments, and interest rate details — helpful if you’re reviewing your mortgage or preparing for a remortgage or equity release review.

While you can’t access mortgage statements through the HSBC app, they’re quick to view or download through Online Banking. Here’s how.

Download your HSBC mortgage statement through HSBC Online Banking

In Online Banking

  • Log in to your HSBC Online Banking account.
  • Select Statements from the “Quick Links” section.
  • Choose the account you want to view (your mortgage account).
  • Pick the statement type you need.
  • All available statements will appear on-screen.
  • Select the one you’d like to view — the PDF version will automatically download.

HSBC also sends out an annual mortgage statement by post, typically around your mortgage anniversary date. This paper statement includes the same balance, interest rate, and payment details you’ll find online.

What does your mortgage statement tell you?

If you’re reviewing your mortgage, these are usually the key things worth checking:

  • Your interest rate and whether you’re on a fixed, tracker, or variable rate.
  • Your remaining balance and how quickly it’s reducing.
  • Your monthly payment and whether it has changed recently.
  • Any fees or charges that appear on the latest statement period.

If you'd like help understanding what your statement means for your mortgage options, book a free intro call and we can talk it through.

Need to Review Your Mortgage?

No pressure, no jargon — just a clear view of your options.

THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SECURING OTHER DEBTS AGAINST YOUR HOME.

YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER DEBT SECURED ON IT.

IMPORTANT: With investments, your capital is at risk. Pensions and investments can go down in value as well as up, so you could get back less than you invest.
