How to Download Your Mortgage Statements

Your mortgage statement includes key details about your loan — your balance, interest rate, and payment history. It’s useful for both you and your adviser when reviewing your current deal or exploring remortgage or equity release options. We’ve put together step-by-step guides for major UK mortgage lenders so you can download the correct document quickly and easily.

Why Your Mortgage Statement Matters

Mortgage statements give a clear snapshot of your loan — including your balance, interest rate, monthly payment, and any fees/ charges. Your latest statement can be used to review your current deal, understand redemption figures, and confirm key details before moving you onto a new product.

When and How You’ll Receive Your Mortgage Statement

Many lenders issue mortgage statements at least annually. Depending on your lender, you may be able to view and download them instantly through your online mortgage account or app. Some lenders can also post a paper copy if requested.

THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SECURING OTHER DEBTS AGAINST YOUR HOME.

YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER DEBT SECURED ON IT.

IMPORTANT: With investments, your capital is at risk. Pensions and investments can go down in value as well as up, so you could get back less than you invest.
